Chelsea star Lauren James’ latest blockbuster was nearly identical to a strike her brother Reece managed – on the same pitch.
Chelsea Women beat Bristol City 3-0 at Ashton Gate after bouncing back from a 4-1 defeat to Arsenal last week.
And it did not take long for Emma Hayes’ side to find their form with star player James crashing in a long-range effort in the 17th minute.
Running towards goal, the England international let loose a shot from 25 yards that flew into the corner to open the scoring.
It gave Olivia Clark no chance in the City goal- but spookily, this is not the first time the same net has felt the full force of a James strike.
Four years ago, Reece James was on loan to Wigan Athletic when they took on Bristol City at Ashton Gate in the Championship.

Despite being a right-back and aged just 19, he was selected in midfield due to his skillset and it proved the right decision.
After shrugging off a midfielder, James charged towards goal before delivering a howitzer of a shot from about the same distance as his sister would score from four years on.
At the time of the goal, Reece’s sister was playing for Manchester United and coming up through the ranks aged just 17.
Chelsea would eventually snap her up in 2021 and both James siblings are now key players for both men and women teams.

Reece was named captain of the Blues this season but has been dogged by a series of tough injuries.
The defender is currently sidelined for up to four months having just recently returned to action to make it a torrid season already.
While Lauren is arguably the Women Super League’s most in-form player this season, scoring eight in 10 matches so far.
Chelsea Women would go top of the WSL with a win over Bristol City while club legend Hayes will depart at the end of the season to become the United States Women’s boss.
