Spółka Wyborcza was registered on August 23 this year. Currently, the only member of its management board is Wojciech Bartkowiak, member of the management board of Agora responsible, among others, for: for the press segment.
From the beginning of next year, the sales director of "Gazeta Wyborcza", Joanna Kwas, and Mikołaj Chrzan , deputy editor-in-chief of "GW" , will join the management board of Wyborcza, responsible for, among others, for local editorial offices. At the same time, Michał Gutowski, currently acting director of finance and controlling of Agora's press segment, will become the company's financial director .
It will start its electoral operations at the beginning of April and will take over the publishing of "Gazeta Wyborcza" from Agora. Agora is the sole shareholder of the new company. – The transformation into a company is an important moment for "Wyborcza", the future of which we confidently entrust to the new management board. We will strongly support it, because its success will be the success not only of "Wyborcza", but of the entire Agora Group – emphasizes Bartosz Hojka, president of Agora.
In addition to "GW" and its online portals Wyborcza.pl and Wyborcza.biz, Spółka Wyborcza will manage the monthly magazines "Książki. Magazyn do Czytania" and "Wysokie Obcasy Extra", printing activities, archives and photo agency, as well as the organization of, among others, Olsztyn Green Festival, CoJestGrane, Rzeszów Festival.

Mikołaj Chrzan has been associated with "Gazeta Wyborcza" continuously since 1996. Since 2019, as deputy editor-in-chief, he has been managing the work of all local editorial offices. He started as a reporter (dealing with urban, economic and local politics), in 2012-2014 he was the editor-in-chief of the Wrocław editorial office of "GW", and in 2015-2018 – he held the same position in the Tri-City editorial office of the daily.
Joanna Kwas has been the director of the sales department of "Gazeta Wyborcza" since 2016. Specializing in the development and sale of advertising products and subscription products in the B2B area, he creates and runs development and well-being programs. She has been associated with Agora since 1998, previously she held, among others, functions of a salesperson, sales team manager and vice-director of the strategic clients department, and in 2014-2016 she was the head of the direct sales department in Warsaw.

Gazeta.pl and the publishing house also operate in separate companies
As part of the project announced this spring Following the reorganization, seven business lines of Agora will be separated into separate companies. These are:
– Agora Publishing House (together with online bookstores Publio.pl and Kulturalnysklep.pl, business lines Ale!, Agora Muzyka and Agora Digital Music,
– Gazeta.pl (together with all its sections and related websites, including Sport.pl, Moto.pl and Plotek.pl),
– IT services for companies from the Agora capital group,
– management of Agora's human resources,
– financial and accounting services for Agora,
– management of Agora's headquarters and car fleet.

After the consent expressed by the general meeting of Agora and the amendment to the company's statute, the companies Wyborcza, Gazeta.pl Agora Książę i Muzyka and Czerska 8/10 were registered in the summer.
In the third quarter of this year Agora group increased revenues by 36%. to PLN 363.5 million, mainly due to an almost half increase in revenues from Helios cinemas. The company's net loss decreased from PLN 24.5 to PLN 13.1 million.
